The recent outbreak of devastating EF-4 tornadoes has really touched home for us and our families.

In an effort to do whatever they can to help, Perpetual Groove (Athens, GA) has chosen to reduce the ticket price for their upcoming 3 day music and arts festival, Amberland. The event will be held in La Fayette, GA, May 27-30. Both areas to the north and south of the site were hit with severe weather that caused damage to homes and businesses. Seeing this destruction with their own eyes and hearing how their fans have been affected by the storms has been such a moving moment for the band.17356

Hoopla Pale Ale and the Brewru Experience coming to Summer Festival Near You Hoopla Pale Ale and the Brewru Experience coming to Summer Festival Near You
[ May 4, 2011 - Share ]

Beer comes in many flavors. So do musicians. Rare as a double lightning strike is when both meet in perfect harmony. But it’s happened: String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is the musician, and Hoopla is his beer. And they’re coming to a festival near you this summer; it’s the “Brewru Experience.“

Developed by Hollingsworth and brewed in conjunction with Boulder Beer, Hoopla is as daring in its construct as Hollingsworth is in his playing. Both have unexpected qualities that only serve to heighten the experience. “Like my music, Hoopla is a blend of varied ingredients that come together to form a unique mix,” Hollingsworth says. “It’s all about discovery. Beer or music, I’m willing to take risks with both.”

Great things happen this way. A daringly bold brew straddling the line between an India Pale Ale (IPA) and its American cou...
