"Sparkle Plenty" is the debut album from singer/ songwriter Ashley Lennon Thomas. Ashley grew up in Los Angeles listening to everything from Frank Sinatra to Frank Zappa which is reflected in the album's eclectic range of styles spanning from country, to Motown, to rock, with the unifying factor being Ashley’s skilled lyrical point of view.
The love and care that was put into this recording is helped by the fact that Ashley’s producer is also her father. John ‘JT’ Thomas has worked with Bruce Hornsby for the past 17 years and brought his
experience to the fold. To make it a family affair, Ashley’s brother
joins the mix, playing drums on two tracks. Other seasoned musicians on this release include John Molo, Moon Calhoun, and Rick Lonow among others.

Essentially, Sparkle Plenty is a folk album glistening with pop sheen.
It’s hard to find a song here that isn’t catchy. Ashley’s graceful voice and lithe melodies reel you in and linger long after the album’s 53 minutes are finished. It's fitting that the name of Ashley’s first album is Sparkle Plenty because she is doing just that.
