The 10,000 Lakes Festival community comes together once a year to celebrate great music in an enchanting natural setting within a participatory, dynamic festival environment. In 2005, the Minneapolis Star Tribune admired that the 10,000 Lakes Festival was “filled with thousands of good vibes.” Jambase.com calls 10KLF “gold from the North Country”. The Star Tribune continues “Even the musicians are impressed by the fest site.” Backstage at 10KLF, Jon Bell, singer/guitarist with Widespread Panic told the Tribune "There's room to move and lots of friendliness and not too crazy. It's a very open vibe. You can't create that."
