As the 2010 music festival circuit kicks into full swing, opportunities abound for great concert-going experiences. One sure winner is the 14th annual All Good Musical Festival & Campout on Marvin’s Mountaintop in Mason, West Virginia, July 8-11. The eclectic artist roster features perennial favorites like Furthur (with Phil Lesh and Bob Weir), Widespread Panic, Umphrey’s McGee, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, Old Crow Medicine Show, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Keller Williams, Dark Star Orchestra, and Railroad Earth. The festival also boasts up-and-comers like Dr. Dog and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, to name just a few. Check out their website at www.allgoodfestival.com for a complete schedule of participating acts.
While the merits of All Good are many; great locale, reasonable ticket prices that include passenger vehicle parking, the aforementioned artist lineup, etc., arguably the coolest feature of the All Good Festival is non-overlapping scheduling of sets between multiple stages. Fans can conceivably see it all rather than be forced to choose between competing shows by their favorite artists. KindWeb also salutes All Good’s commitment to energy conservation through its usage of solar-power in its Grassroots Stage area.
Stage Schedule: NO OVERLAPPING SETS!
