The Big Up Festival has announced their 2011 summer festival dates as July 28, 29 and 30, 2011. The three-day festival held at beautiful Sunnyview Farm in Ghent, New York, features 50 plus hours of music on multiple stages, arts and culture, and multimedia experiences.

The Big Up 2011, promises to be bigger and better than last year with a diverse selection of musical entertainment to include the hottest acts from the electronic and jamband scenes. New for this year is an expanded woods village, which will include it's own stage, vending, activities and camping accommodations.  Also for 2011, The Big Up will feature an incredible array of arts and multimedia installations spanning throughout the entire festival grounds.

Headliners and other surprises to be announced in the following months leading up to the event.

A limited number of VIP upgrade tickets will be issued for sale and RV camping will be available. Shuttle services will be provided for persons needing pick ups at local train stations for transport to and from the festival. The Big Up is a family friendly event. Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. Tickets and event details can be found at www.thebigup.com.

The Big Up's backdrop, Sunnyview Farm, is located on over 1500 acres in Ghent New York.  Sunnyview's location makes it a central gathering point for New York City, Boston, and Metro Connecticut commuters and it's a stone's throw away from New York's Capital Region. In addition to its great location, Sunnyview Farm offers breathtaking views, making it a one-of-a-kind festival destination that features wooded camping, four unique performance stages, an on site farmer's market, local vending, large scale multimedia installations, and workshops dedicated to hands-on sustainable skills and collaborative art.

These festival grounds, which are larger than Bonnaroo's, are poised for explosive growth in years to come. For now, The Big Up welcomes an intimate festival community, offering quality music, activities, and entertainment.

The Big Up 2010, artist lineup included two sets from RAQ and performances by Headtronics, Telepath, Pnuma Trio, Emancipator, Big Gigantic, Roots of Creation, OTT, Sub Swara, The Breakfast, Kung Fu, Twiddle, NY Funk Exchange, ESKMO, Higher Organix among many others.
