Steve Kimock Adds West Coast Dates

As he begins his first major tour in three years, guitarist Steve Kimock announces seven West Coast dates, taking his new quartet from Sacramento, to Chico, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Hermosa Beach, before heading overseas to play Fuji Rock Fest in Japan.

Kimock has hand picked an all-star cast including Bernie Worrell (Founding member and musical director of Parliament Funkadelic, Talking Heads) on keys, Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crow, David Lindley) on drums, and bassists Andy Hess (Gov’t Mule, Black Crowes) and Reed Mathis (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Tea Leaf Green). The band will be debuting some new material as well as showcasing works from Kimock’s extensive 30-year catalog.

Renown worldwide for his lyrical guitarplay and masterful improvisation, Kimock has lead his listeners on amelodic journey for nearly four decades. Eternally seeking refinement of sound, spontaneity and synergistic collaboration, Kimock continues to pursue an insatiable quest to create new and compelling live music. Those who make the voyage experience a musician sharing a unique perspective based on his own inner workings, not influenced by musical titans or trends.
