March 3, 2013:  After several years on hiatus from music, Ed Van Wicklen, Owner and Chief Editor of KindWeb, has released his 2nd full length CD, Till the End

Ed created KindWeb in 1998 during a busy schedule of playing live music.  From 1994 through 2004, Ed was seen playing all over south-central Pennsylvania and Maryland, releasing his first full length CD, Carved in Stone, in 1999.  In 2004, with family and children taking full priority, he decided to take a break from music.  Late last year, Ed decided to close this chapter and finish these songs which were written and partially recorded years ago.

As with Ed’s first CD, Carved in Stone, this CD spans multiple genres.  There is no one writing style that he prefers.  This results in songs spanning genres of rock, blues, funk, groove, jazz, and even some country.

This new CD was a different type of challenge than his first CD, since Ed set out to record and play all of the instruments himself in his private studio.  He did succeed in doing this, but also layered in several guest musicians into the mix to make things a bit more interesting.

This new CD, Till the End, is available through his website below or through iTunes:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/till-the-end/id644212120
