AUSTIN, Texas —The schedule has been set for the 27th Old Settler’s Music Festival, and it’s packed full with some of the world’s finest roots, bluegrass and Americana artists. This year’s hotly anticipated acts include Jeff Bridges & the Abiders, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, the Del McCoury Band, Sarah Jarosz, Lake Street Dive, Donna the Buffalo, John Fullbright, Bob Schneider and Dr. Ralph Stanley & His Clinch Mountain Boys. The festival is Thursday, April 10, through Sunday, April 13, at the Salt Lick Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch in the wildflower-filled Texas hill country, just south of Austin on FM 1826. Tickets are available at oldsettlersmusicfest.org and 1.888.512.SHOW. (Full schedule below.)

In addition to “real music done right,” Old Settler’s offers workshops, sing-alongs, campground jam sessions, kids’ activities, a market area full of unique arts and crafts, specialty foods and brews and of course, the Youth Talent Competition, where the headliners of tomorrow might gain early recognition. Additional workshops will be announced soon. Check the website for updates.

Old Settler’s also has added a ride-sharing board that allows festivalgoers to arrange joint transportation. It is accessible via  oldsettlersmusicfest.org/directions/ride-share/. Our free app, downloadable via iPhone or Android stores, allows festivalgoers to create custom schedules and more. Also check out DeliRadio.com to listen to this year’s artists.
